IMPORTANT NOTICE
After careful consideration, the NSELA Executive Committee - working in consultation with the Professional Learning Committee - has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2025 Summer Leadership Institute originally scheduled to take place in Salt Lake City on July 14th and 15th.
Due to unexpected mechanical issues at the venue affecting the elevators and escalators, the site is currently not ADA compliant. As an organization committed to accessibility and inclusion, we are unable to proceed with the event under these circumstances.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this cancelation may cause and appreciate your understanding. We were looking forward to welcoming you all in Salt Lake City this summer to two days of purposeful and impactful professional learning.
We look forward to connecting with you at a future NSELA in-person or virtual event. Until then, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.

We will examine how to integrate climate and data science into curricula, leveraging the unique resources of our communities to empower students to become informed, engaged citizens.
